Thumbs up! A Pilot Study of a Positive Psychology Intervention for Children in Greece

The current study aimed to test the hypothesis that a newly developed multi-component 8-week Positive Psychology Intervention (PPI) programme for children could lead significant decrease in negative emotion, state anxiety, trait and increase hope positive emotions. Participants were recruited online assigned randomly experimental control groups with equal sample sizes (N = 8) this study. Each participant completed battery of self-reported questionnaires before after completion programme. Measurements included Hope, STAI, PANAS demographic questionnaires. Hope emotions increased, whereas emotions, anxiety decreased. results supported our PPIs be considered successful alternative intervention or prevention children.
